Art therapy for ages 8 through adulthood in Dunedin, Florida.
A creative way to feel better.
For the overthinkers.
The big feelers.
The makers.
The “I'm not creative” people.
The neurodivergent brains.
The kids who don't want to sit and talk.
The adults who don't either.
DAT is what we’re all about.
DAT Studio is a creative extension of Modern Minds Counseling where we use making, exploring, and creating as part of the therapeutic process. You don't need to be an artist, you just have to be willing to create and try new things.

Hi, I’m Molly! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist who believes creativity is an important part of feeling like ourselves.
I’ve always loved the way making something can help us slow down, get out of our heads, express things we don’t quite have words for, and find that sweet spot of being completely engaged in what we’re doing.
That’s why I created a space where therapy and creativity can look a little different. We might paint, make a collage, experiment with photography, design something with the Cricut, or try something completely new. There’s no pressure to be “good at art” here.
My approach is warm, collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming, and grounded in the belief that sometimes we need to do and create, not just sit and talk.
As an art therapist, mental health counselor and fellow creative person, my goal is to help you find what works for your brain and hopefully have some fun along the way.

Why We Love What We Do
Our brains need creativity.
Creative experiences give our brains a different way to engage, process, explore, and recharge. Making something can help us shift out of overthinking and into the present moment, creating space for curiosity, connection, and joy.
Creativity is more than a hobby.
At DAT Studio, we use the creative process intentionally. Painting, collage, photography, mixed media, Cricut projects, and more can help us find flow, express what’s hard to put into words, try new things, and discover what helps us feel better.
